Happy Next Year……Celebrating Asheville Live Music!
Well, we made it to 2026 and we are beginning our 8th year of publishing the Asheville area’s most complete and reliable live music calendar.
It’s been quite a journey with a couple of bumps in the road along the way, most recently Helene in September of ’24. We’re happy to report the recovery is in full gear as we have reached new same month record traffic on the website in September, October, November and December of ’25 and now January of ’26! It warms our heart to see visitors returning to the area and supporting our local music scene.
Some of the special events we are looking forward this Winter:
Billy String Week – February 10, 11, 13, 14
Thousands of Bluegrass/Jamgrass fans converge on our fair city for four nights with Billy and his band. Look for a plethora of pre, post and in between shows all over the area and of course we are your best guide to find out who’s playin’ where & when!
Asheville Mardi Gras Parade – February 15, 3:05pm
One of Asheville’s favorite events all year. Look for dozens of Krewes and floats from all walks of life entered in the parade. Plenty of pre and post shows to keep us entertained all day and night.
There’s still plenty going on in the Asheville area this winter, at some of our favorite venues. Keep your eye on these fine purveyors and supporters of live music!!!
Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain opened up a brand new indoor taproom early last year and boasts what we consider one of the best sounding rooms in the area. You’ll find a wide variety of live music throughout the week as well as their famous Pisgah Sunday Jam most Sunday evenings with some of the finest talent in the area. The taproom deli or food trucks are available during most music events. pisgahbrewing.com

The venue extends a welcoming feeling to regulars and newcomers to this day. https://jackofthewood.com/
