Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians, that play lively Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle, guitars, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots... WTF (Women to the Front) festival was originally set to take place on September 29th at Salvage Station but obviously was canceled due to the flooding that destroyed the venue. Our hearts were broken for our friends who lost everything. It was hard to imagine doing this event anywhere else, but we need community right... |
