Danny Iannucci is a professional bassist known for his deep groove, sharp instincts, and genre-bending versatility. Equally at home on upright and electric bass, he brings a bold musical voice to every stage he steps on. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, Danny earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music from Western Carolina University in 2010, laying a strong foundation in jazz and classical traditions.
A full-time freelance musician, Danny moves fluidly across styles—jazz, funk, hip-hop, soul, R&B, classical, and blues—infusing each performance with precision, feel, and fearless creativity. Whether holding down the low end in a smoky jazz trio, laying down fat grooves in a soul band, or navigating the dynamic shifts of a musical theatre pit, his adaptability and depth make him an in-demand collaborator across the Southeast and beyond.
Danny doesn’t just play the bass—he listens, he responds, and he elevates the entire ensemble.
