Rick Hornyak is a singer-songwriter who recently moved to WNC from Austin. His latest album, Dandelion, blends rockin’ guitars with heartfelt, honest lyrics and has been played on radio stations across the country. His band, the Highway Companions, brings a sound that feels both familiar and fresh. You’ll hear a mix of original music and classic songs from Americana and Classic Rock greats like Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Steve Miller Band, and Chuck Berry.
Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates an indoor taproom and an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months with live music several days a week.
