The Double Crown is celebrating Thanksgiving with none other than the Godfather of Quartet himself Spencer Taylor Jr. and The Highway QCs! The QCs are marking their 77th year after forming in Chicago in 1946. Spencer Taylor Jr. took over as lead singer in 1956. His predecessors in the group included Johnnie Taylor, Lou Rawls and Sam Cooke. The Godfather turned 95 this year and is still going strong. Come on out and help us celebrate 77 years of The Highway QCs!
