ZAMBI is a wild, jam-soaked blast of cosmic funk. The sacred chaos of Princess Zambi, made loud. Born from the Zambi philosophy of Col. Bruce Hampton, the project bends reality, shatters genre. They invite everyone into a world where the number 6 is magic, Neptune is calling, and the groove never stops.

Princess Zambi channels her lineage including her grandfather legendary guitarist Denny Walley. Yet she flips it into something unruly, queer, and electrified. Her sound is a psychedelic funk carnival: tight enough to dance to, loose enough to melt your mind, and overflowing with heart.

A ZAMBI show is not just a show, it’s a portal. A rainbow galaxy‑drenched celebration where the misfits lead, the music breathes, and the spirit of Zambi lives on in every note.

Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom with live music several days a week, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months.
