Early in his music career, Tyler found a mentor in drummer and composer Yonrico Scott, known for his long tenure with The Derek Trucks Band.
Later, Tyler came to know Col. Bruce Hampton and eventually spent years performing as the lead guitarist for his last band, The Madrid Express.
Tyler isn’t just a musician; he’s also a community builder. His performances go beyond the stage, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared joy. In a world that often feels divided, live music serves as a unifying force, bringing people from all walks of life together to celebrate the beauty of the human experience. Tyler views music as devotion; an avenue for reaching a higher power and accessing new levels of consciousness.

Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom with live music several days a week, plus our outdoor music venue in the summer and fall months with live music frequently on WNC’s premier outdoor music venue, the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage.
