The Russ Wilson Quartet – Songs of Love and Other Four Letter Words
February 13 @ 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm
$
With 44 years as a professional musician, Russ Wilson has done it all — jazz, blues, rock, R&B, Broadway pit work, and symphonic music — but jazz has always been his first love.
He’s shared the stage with legends like Levon Helm, Charlie Musselwhite, Hubert Sumlin, and Kim Wilson, appeared on hundreds of recordings, and released 11 albums as a bandleader.
A drummer, vocalist, conductor, and self-described amateur historian, Russ also leads multiple ensembles and preserves jazz history through an archive of thousands of records and orchestrations.
We are so honored to host this legend!
$15 at the door (all ticket proceeds are 100% passed to the band, backed by a living wage guarantee from Hotel Eve)
Hotel Eve is your locally rooted, speakeasy jazz club & cocktail bar, hidden in the heart of Downtown Asheville. Mysteriously not a hotel…check in for spirits, souls and jazz! We’re tucked away, on purpose. You’ll find us behind the gate nestled between Virtue Boutique and Dane Wells Gallery at 56 N Lexington Avenue in downtown Asheville.
