The Alpines are a Salt Lake City–based rock duo made up of Bri McCall and Danny Patiño. Bringing a unique sound, The Alpines are an emotional, high energy, entertaining, and engaging band that leaves audiences wide-eyed and wanting more. The Alpines perform as a two-piece with a full-band sound built around guitars and digital drums. Live, the dynamic between them is immediate. In the female fronted performance, Bri doesn’t perform to be “pretty” — she performs to get the story out, pulling the emotion into the room whether it’s comfortable or not. Danny’s guitar work is precise and deliberate, built around tone, reverb, and carefully shaped effects that give the songs their structure and weight.
