Starkestra Swings

Starkestra SWINGS (Jazz Set) is a special offshoot of New Dawn Starkestra, bringing the group’s adventurous spirit squarely into the world of jazz. The project features four standout voices from the Western North Carolina scene: Rebekah Todd (vocals), Isaac Hadden (guitar), Quinn Sternberg (bass), and Jeff Sipe (drums). Formulated from the collaborative energy of New Dawn Starkestra, this swinging set leans into groove-driven improvisation and spontaneous interplay. With deep musical trust and world-class musicianship, the quartet moves effortlessly between classic swing, soulful interpretation, and modern jazz textures, creating a listening experience that’s both rooted and wide open.

$10-$15 at the door (all ticket proceeds are 100% passed to the band, backed by a living wage guarantee from Hotel Eve)
