Led by Asheville bassist and composer Quinn Sternberg, Mind Beach is known throughout the Carolinas for its adventurous improvisation and thoughtful songwriting. Drawing from Sternberg’s five studio albums alongside an ever-evolving repertoire, the band creates a fluid, genre-blurring sound that DownBeat Magazine praised as “complex yet digestible.” The quartet brings an energetic, deeply connected approach to every performance.

Chris Bullock is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known for his work on saxophones, flutes, clarinets, and keyboards. Over the years, he has expanded his artistic voice through composition and music production, crafting a distinctive and continually evolving sound.

Since 2005, Chris has been a member and composer of the acclaimed genre-defying ensemble Snarky Puppy. With the band, he has earned five Grammy Awards and performs regularly at leading concert halls and major music festivals around the world.
