Jordan Scheffer “About Me” Album Release Party

Jordan Scheffer, the acclaimed Asheville-based vocalist and songwriter known for blending American roots music with West African and Afro-Caribbean funk influences, will celebrate the release of her new album, About Me, with a special Album Release Party at Third Room on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Backed by a dynamic 10-piece band featuring some of Asheville’s most celebrated musicians, Scheffer’s release show promises an unforgettable evening of bold arrangements, high energy, and deeply personal storytelling.

Born blind, Scheffer first gained national attention after winning the 2017 Blind Idol competition in Raleigh, NC. That recognition led to performances at the legendary Apollo Theater, including a second-place finish at Amateur Night at the Apollo. A cum laude graduate with a degree in Afromusicology, she brings both scholarly depth and a singular creative voice to every performance.
