Jason DeCristofaro Trio

Dr. Jason DeCristofaro is an active music educator, multi-instrumentalist and composer/arranger based in Asheville, NC. He is entering his 10th year at Warren Wilson College, currently serving as Assistant Professor of Music, Chair of the Music Department, and Director of the Kittredge Arts Center. Jason’s classical and jazz music has been performed internationally and throughout the United States, and his compositions are published with C. Alan, Per-Mus and Tapspace. Best known as a jazz vibraphonist, Jason was the winner of the 2011 Yamaha/Percussive Arts Society Terry Gibbs Competition and has performed on national and global stages with Randy Brecker, Dr. Sam Waymon (Nina Simone’s brother), Jocelyn Gould, and Sharel Cassity.
For this special performance he is joined by Rick Dilling & Kevin Kehrberg.
$10 weekdays -$15 weekends at the door (all ticket proceeds are 100% passed to the band, backed by a living wage guarantee from Hotel Eve)
