Hazy Music Series | Peggy Ratusz and the Daddy Long Legs + Brian Felix Trio

Peggy “Blues Chanteuse” Ratusz, has won best in Blues awards for the past 17 years as well as best vocalist and most notable local musician who gives back to the community. A three-time semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, TN for the past 36 years, Ratusz produces her own shows including “Love Letter: A Tribute to Bonnie Raitt,” and “Blues In the Night” a collection of torchy and tantalizing Jazz standards, Swing tunes and Blues Shuffles. Genre: Traditional & Modern Blues & Swing, Old School Soul & Originals.

Brian Felix is widely recognized as an accomplished and versatile jazz keyboardist. Felix leads his working trio — Tim Fischer on guitar and Evan Martin on drums — whose telepathic interplay and extraordinary musicianship bring his diverse body of work to life. Felix, Fisher, and Martin will bring this original music to Sierra Nevada along with interesting jazz/funk reworkings of Beatles tunes and other surprises.
