Hard Bop Explosion

February 28 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Hard Bop Explosion.jpg sqLg

Hard Bop Explosion was a concept conceived by pianist Bill Bares over a decade ago. It was an overwhelming urge to pay tribute to the masters of the 50’s movement to inject soul and joy into the music, making it more accessible to the people. Join the band as they pay homage to dignitaries such as Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Cannonball Adderley, and other giants of jazz.

Hotel Eve is your locally rooted, speakeasy jazz club & cocktail bar, hidden in the heart of Downtown Asheville. Mysteriously not a hotel…check in for spirits, souls and jazz! We’re tucked away, on purpose. You’ll find us behind the gate nestled between Virtue Boutique and Dane Wells Gallery at 56 N Lexington Avenue in downtown Asheville. Step through, take a left into the courtyard, check in for Spirits, Souls & Jazz. We’ll be waiting on the other side. hotelevejazz.com
