An Evening in Tuscany: Music, Wine & the Long Italian Table ft. Gypsy Reverie
October 15 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$$
For one night, Battery Park Book Exchange slows down to Tuscan time.
Gypsy Reverie‘s acoustic quartet plays the music of Tuscany and Italy – Puccini, who was born in Lucca, old Florentine serenades, and the Italian swing of the 1930s – in the candlelit corner of one of Asheville’s most beautiful rooms.
Settle in with a Tuscan food spread and a welcome toast, or add a curated tasting of Tuscan wines from the hills around Florence. The evening takes its inspiration from Under the Tuscan Sun, whose author lives part of each year in Hillsborough, NC. As the Italians say, “a tavola non s’invecchia”: at the table, you don’t grow old.
The fourth stop in the “An Evening In…” series, after sold-out nights in Lisbon and Buenos Aires.
