Hailing from Asheville NC’s vibrant music scene, this trio of groove merchants deliver funk with altitude (no seriously, their shortest member is 6’ 2”). Their sound blends The Meters’ grit, Stevie Wonder’s soul, and Vulfpeck’s playful precision into a high-energy mix of reimagined classics and spontaneous jams. Both old-school and new-school lovers of funk/R&B/rock/jam genres in their audience, will recognize some favorites, and also discover some new sand worth panning.
With members who’ve opened for The Black Crowes, Allman Brothers, Leftover Salmon and Average White Band, they channel decades of groove into one mission: to make you move.
Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom & deli, with live music several days a week, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months.
