The Town of Marshall celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with a celebration in downtown Marshall

Honoring our Heroes with a reading of our country’s founding documents on the historic courthouse steps in Downtown Marshall, starting at 3:30 pm

• Pledge of Allegiance

• A Reading of the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence

• American Legion – Men and Women of Freedom presentation

• A sharing of North Carolina’s journey in our Country’s freedom and Madison County DAR history

Blannahasset Island welcomes guests starting at 4 pm – don’t forget to bring your blankets and chairs as we enjoy a lineup of live music and fireworks.

• 8:00 pm-9:30 pm – The Back Pocket

• 9:30 pm – Fireworks on the French Broad
