Free Jazz Monday w/ Brian Felix Organ Trio – Level Up 2LP Release Party

Former OM Trio keyboardist Brian Felix has broken his two-decade recording silence with the double-LP Level Up on Slimtrim Records. The release party will feature the trio on Level Up: Felix on organ with Tim Fischer (guitar) and Evan Martin (drums). Admission is Free and the group will play 2 sets.

Level Up is a stylistic tour de force, spanning genres from straight-ahead jazz to funk, reggae, samba, surf rock, and
gospel. The album was completely produced and manufactured in WNC—recorded, mixed, and mastered at Drop
of Sun Studios and pressed by Donaldson Record Pressing. The group will play the album in its entirety, along with
other select originals and covers. The trio has been turning heads in the region, with electric performances at AVL
Fest (2023, 2024) and Fall for Greenville Festival (2024). Special guest musicians will be joining the trio throughout
