Disco Brisket is our first ever brisket competition, but it’s more than your ordinary bbq event. It’s an evening about great food, shared experiences, and supporting our good friends at @foodconnection_wnc and all the work they do right here in our community.
The fine folks at Food Connection work tirelessly to rescue fresh, unserved meals and redistribute them to families, seniors, veterans, and local organizations. It’s a simple idea with BIG impact!
At this event you’ll get to taste brisket from a lineup of seriously talented BBQ teams while they compete not just with flavor, but with full on performances. Music, dancing, costumes, and a level of creativity that can only happen in Asheville ✨
It’s part competition, part show, and part community gathering.
