Longtime Asheville resident Billy Jonas invites you to “peruse the perimeters of possibility” with the heartfelt, humorous, healing, and eminently human songs from his new album Bridging Divides.
Billy Jonas has taken his unique blend of voice, guitar, and “industrial re-percussion” — instruments made from found, foraged, and recyclable materials — all over the world since 1987. Beloved for his ability to connect with audiences of all ages, Billy has garnered multiple awards, been featured in the New York Times, and been invited to perform at the White House.
Billy has prepared a special show to celebrate the release of Bridging Divides, which he’ll present in the intimate setting of AyurPrana Listening Room in West Asheville. This 16-and-up evening will feature Billy alongside special guests River Guerguerian, Chris Rosser, E’Lon JD, Ashley Jo Farmer, Juan Holladay, Bill Melanson, David LaMotte, Sherman Hoover, members of the CBHT Choir, and more.
