Jake Hollifield and The Screaming J’s are longtime fixtures of Asheville’s music scene. With Jake’s fiery, boogie-drenched piano, their sound is raw, magnetic, and unapologetically alive. This project channels decades of stagecraft into a new expression that’s equal parts rootsy and rebellious—honoring tradition while breaking the mold. Drawing from honky-tonk, blues, and back-porch rock ’n’ roll, every performance is a joyful detour into the unexpected.

Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom & deli, with live music several days a week, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months.
