The Asheville Jazz Orchestra is thrilled to bring our full big band sound to The Grey Eagle Music Hall for a special Sunday matinee on April 12 at 2:00 PM.
For years, audiences from Asheville, Black Mountain, Flat Rock, Hendersonville, and beyond have supported live jazz in Western North Carolina, and now we have a rare opportunity to present the full power of a live 17-piece big band in one of the region’s most beloved music venues.
This concert is more than just an afternoon of great music — it’s a chance to show that big band jazz has a home in Asheville. A strong turnout helps ensure that the Grey Eagle will continue welcoming the Asheville Jazz Orchestra back for future performances.
Expect swinging classics, lush ballads, and the electrifying energy that only a full big band can deliver.
