Asheville Blues Women is a collective of established local and regional musicians(and special guests) who enjoy getting together and sharing blues music with the community.
Featuring Laura Blackley (vocals and guitar), Anne Coombs (guitar), Nicole Nicolopoulos (vocals and guitar), Carrie Morrison (vocals and keyboards), Robin Borthwick (drums)Kim Butler (vocals and bass), this group has performed at the Black Mountain Blues Festival, Asheville Pride Festival, Women to the Front Festival as well as numerous clubs and stages in the area.
Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom & deli, with live music several days a week, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months.
