Area 49 | The Showroom
May 22 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Some bands show up and play. Others take over the room a little.
Area 49 rolls in from Upstate South Carolina with a rock sound that hits somewhere between alt, indie, and a little Southern grit. Tight playing, strong harmonies, and a live show that doesn’t sit still for long. It’s polished enough to feel dialed in, but still loose in all the right ways.
Their sets move between original tracks and crowd-favorite covers, keeping things familiar without ever feeling predictable. One minute it’s groove-heavy and locked in, the next it opens up and gets a little louder.
If you’re into bands that actually feel like a band on stage, this one’s worth catching.
Come early, grab a drink, and settle in. Or don’t settle in at all.
$5-$10 cover on weekends.

Fitz and the Wolfe is a cocktail and music venue shaped by the spirit of improvisation, storytelling, and the kind of nights that feel too good to end. Here, every night brings a new soundtrack. Jazz, swing, honky-tonk, and sometimes things a little more esoteric—if it moves people, we book it. The music fills the space like a second heartbeat, sometimes rowdy, sometimes intimate, always memorable. It’s not background noise. It’s the reason you’re here. fitzandthewolfe.com
