Most recently known for his role in Dead & Company\, Oteil joined Bob Weir\, Bill Kreutzmann\, and Mickey Hart alongside John Mayer for ten major tours\, helping carry forward the Grateful Dead legacy for a new generation.A founding member of the early ’90s Southern jazz-fusion group Col. Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit\, Oteil later became the longest-tenured bassist in the history of The Allman Brothers Band.
