DESCRIPTION:Sip and stroll through the Arboretum’s gardens in the glow of the golden hour\, all while listening to live music from a variety of local and regional artists! Arbor Evenings runs Wednesdays and Thursdays through September 18\, 2025 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is no additional cost to attend ArborEvenings beyond our standard parking fee. As always\, Arboretum Society members and their accompanying guests can enter for FREE (guests must be in member vehicles to receive free entry). Proceeds from Arbor Evenings help support the The North Carolina Arboretum Society and further advance the Arboretum’s mission. \nFood is available for purchase from a rotating selection of local food trucks. See Performance Schedule click here! \nBeer\, Wine\, and soft drinks will be for sale onsite at the Green Gardener’s Shed from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. each night of the event. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited\, but guests are welcome to bring in water or a favorite non-alcoholic beverage. \nArborEvenings is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain\, Arbor Evenings will relocate indoors to the Baker Visitor Center.

A North Carolina native now based in Asheville\, Kendra grew up on a musical diet curated by her grandparents’ love of jazz and classic country\, and her parents’ devotion to soul\, R&B\, disco\, and rock. Whether she’s belting out a soul classic\, crooning a smoky jazz standard\, or unveiling a new original\, Kendra brings grit\, grace\, and a lot of groove. \n  \nFounded in 2005\, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates an indoor taproom and an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months with live music several days a week. Tickets will be available for purchase online and at the door.\n\n\nThe Swannanoa Gathering is an educational program of the college\, consisting of a series of week-long workshops in various folk arts held in July and August on the campus of Warren Wilson College just east of Asheville in the heart of North Carolina’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. \nAll shows begin at 7:30 pm in the college’s Chapel.
