Jay Farrar’s work often seeks out the ghosts of America’s discordant or forgotten past\, converses at length with them\, and writes songs that stake a claim to a better future. \nFounded in 2005\, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom & deli\, with live music several days a week\, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months.
