DESCRIPTION:Buncombe County Parks & Recreation’s annual Independence Day celebration is returning to Lake Julian Park on Friday\, July 4. Buncombe County residents\, families\, friends\, and neighbors are invited to experience the dazzling firework show on lawn chairs and blankets. The fireworks are scheduled to begin just after dark\, around 9:15 p.m. The display will be created by PyroWright.\nBoth the main side of the park\, located at 37 Lake Julian Road\, and the back side of the park\, located at 56 Fisherman’s Trail\, will be open regular hours\, beginning at 8 a.m. Visitors are encouraged to come early to enjoy a full day of fun. Food trucks will be on site from 2 to 9 p.m.\, and the Fuzzy Peppers will take the stage starting at 4 p.m.
