His recordings as a bandleader and decades of international touring reflect a playing style defined by deep swing\, lyricism\, and musical integrity. \nFor this performance\, LaSpina leads a quintet featuring Dr. Bill Bares (piano)\, Peter Dimery (tenor sax)\, Tim Fischer (guitar)\, and Alan Hall (drums)\, bringing together seasoned voices for an evening rooted in tradition\, interplay\, and spontaneous exploration. Known for their distinct blend of alt-country and indie rock\, the band is hitting the stage to celebrate their third album\, Companion. \n  \nThe AyurPrana Listening Room was constructed within the walls of a former church and built to compliment and expand upon the natural acoustics of the room by way of fresh audio equipment and extraordinary sound treatment. Interplaced between acoustic panels and rustically braced arches\, sliding panels adorn the windows and upstage walls allowing the ability to fine-tune the liveliness of the room.
