Arbor Evenings runs Wednesdays and Thursdays through September 18\, 2025 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is no additional cost to attend ArborEvenings beyond our standard parking fee. As always\, Arboretum Society members and their accompanying guests can enter for FREE (guests must be in member vehicles to receive free entry). Proceeds from Arbor Evenings help support the The North Carolina Arboretum Society and further advance the Arboretum’s mission. \nFood is available for purchase from a rotating selection of local food trucks. See Performance Schedule click here! \nBeer\, Wine\, and soft drinks will be for sale onsite at the Green Gardener’s Shed from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. each night of the event. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited\, but guests are welcome to bring in water or a favorite non-alcoholic beverage. \nArborEvenings is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain\, Arbor Evenings will relocate indoors to the Baker Visitor Center.

The band’s music has been described as rock with folk\, blues and country influences\, although the band actively rebels against the country tag\, stating “We’re proud not to sing with a twang”. \nSUPPORT: Twain: “There is nothing remarkable about my life that is necessary to know in order to appreciate the songs\,” says Matthew Davidson of Twain. He describes the project as “a modern folk-opera of indefinite length consisting of songs and images from my life\, a self-caricature of the musician and writer Matthew Davidson.” \nFounded in 2005\, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates an indoor taproom and an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months with live music several days a week.
