Proceeds from Arbor Evenings help support the The North Carolina Arboretum Society and further advance the Arboretum’s mission. \nFood is available for purchase from a rotating selection of local food trucks. DESCRIPTION:Since making their debut as the house band at Roadhouse in Athens\, Ga in 2021\, The Regulars have been serving up their greasy fusion of funk\, soul\, blues\, and rock n roll to audiences across the southeast.\n\nIn September 2024\, The Regulars released their latest musical offering\, Coming Down\, increasing their growing stable of original material. While maintaining a steady increase of new material\, The Regulars have kept their focus on expanding their fanbase through Live Performance. The Regulars played almost 40 concerts in 2024\, including their self produced “A Real Good Time” festival—the band’s biggest event to date.\n  \nFounded in 2005\, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom with live music several days a week\, plus an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months. DESCRIPTION:Coming to us from New York City\, the Jake Richter Quartet delivers a compelling blend of modern composition and improvisational depth. Led by drummer and composer Jake Richter\, the group features Brandon Choi on trumpet\, Evan Main on piano\, and Dan Montgomery on bass. \nFormed during Richter’s residency at the iconic 55 Bar\, the ensemble has toured nationally and built a reputation for expressive\, forward-thinking performances. Richter\, who splits time between NYC and Chapel Hill\, is an active bandleader and sideman\, with appearances at venues like The Jazz Gallery\, Barbés\, and Bar Bayeux. His debut album Listen to the Birds is out now on Endectomorph Records. \nA PhD candidate in Music Composition at Duke University and graduate of the Manhattan School of Music\, Richter brings a thoughtful\, contemporary voice rooted in the tradition of one of the world’s great jazz cities. \n$10 weekdays -$15 weekends at the door (all ticket proceeds are 100% passed to the band\, backed by a living wage guarantee from Hotel Eve) \n*Reserve a table in advance\, or join us impromptu the night of the show.
