We’re so very excited to introduce our newest free weekly event\, open to all ages\, family & pet-friendly\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll have an extra special brunch menu\, craft beer\, mimosas\, and of course\, beer-mosas\, all alongside jazz music from the talented jazz fusion trio\, “Four Peanuts”. The group explores both original compositions and zesty covers of tunes you may or may not know. DESCRIPTION:Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians\, that play lively Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle\, guitars\, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group\, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots music. \nJack Of The Wood is still a downtown hot spot for food\, brews and drink since 1997 and founders Joan and Joe Eckert who still own it\, have maintained the original lively English and Irish vibe. The old-time mountain and Irish music jams continue\, including a hot bluegrass jam Thursdays and brunch every Sunday.
