Missing the free exchange of ideas and the surprises that inevitably occur when a group of simpatico musicians lock together\, Farrar assembled a new lineup of Son Volt in 2004 and has since released nine albums. The latest album\, Sound Signal Serenades\, was released as a special 2026 Record Store Day limited edition LP. Jay Farrar’s work often seeks out the ghosts of America’s discordant or forgotten past\, converses at length with them\, and writes songs that stake a claim to a better future. \n  \nShannon McNally\nAt home across the American (Americana) music spectrum\, the Grammy nominee who’s live music career began on the jam band circuit of the 1990’s with bands like Derek\nTrucks and Railroad Earth\, writes as well as she interprets the songs of others\, has a top tier musicality to her craft\, a soul stirring\, honest and at times elegant voice that\nimmediately grabs one by the heart strings and a troubadour’s wanderlust\, not to mention as it turns out\, she is also an excellent electric guitar player.\n\n\nFounded in 2005\, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Led and curated by Jonathan Lloyd (The Fritz/Dubconscious/Cadillac Jones)\, the band is made up of some of Asheville’s busiest and hardest working musicians on the scene.
