Sound Effects Benefit Concert

Now in its 11th year, Sound Effects is Asheville Music School’s primary fundraising event. This year, we are focusing the energy back to our students, and showcasing all of our bands at a Sunday funday event at One World West, including Minør, Liminal Spaces, Dr. Funky Squirrel, Noise Farm, Static Waves, and more.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support AMS operations and the Paul Thorpe Music Education Fund, which funds the AMS scholarship and outreach programs. https://www.ashevillemusicschool.org/paul-thorpe-music-education-fund/
All ages are welcome to attend; and in alignment with our mission, we are making this event affordable for everyone, with sliding scale donations accepted at the door.
