Brushfire Stankgrass is a bona fide Asheville original bluegrass fusion group. The quartet, led by the Saylor brothers on banjo and guitar, delves deeper into the funk/rock/reggae spectrum than most bluegrass jambands do, while exemplifying the musicianship and authenticity of a band that was truly born out of both Asheville’s bluegrass scene and Asheville’s weird rock/jamband scene.
