JuneBug is excited to be hosting the SART (Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre) reunion this weekend! Their alumni will be taking the stage from 1-4 pm open mic style. Come sing with New Orleans’s premiere live karaoke band! Featuring guitar, bass, drums, and keys, we play over 150 songs from the 70s to present day. $10

What is The Alien Music Club? It’s a musical collective from Asheville’s Jonathan Pearlman, who operates in relative obscurity within the area’s thriving music scene. “I operate under the pseudonym AMC, because I’m painfully shy and self-deprecating. I’m no good at self-promotion, but I do make great music with my many very talented friends.”
AMC is a bit eccentric. Expect quirky, unusual, original material; jazz, rockabilly, funk, punk and general weirdness with lots of fun cover tunes. The lineup features JP (guitar/vocals), Chuck Lichtenberger (piano/vocals), Alex Travers (violin/guitar), Ryan Kijanka (bass) and Jaron Pearlman (drums/vocals).
