The QCs are marking their 77th year after forming in Chicago in 1946. Spencer Taylor Jr. took over as lead singer in 1956. His predecessors in the group included Johnnie Taylor, Lou Rawls and Sam Cooke. The Godfather turned 95 this year and is still going strong. Come on out and help us celebrate 77 years of The Highway QCs!

In the spirit of caroling and sharing holiday cheer, over two dozen roving Dickens-themed acts will be performing throughout Historic Biltmore Village, including the chestnut roaster, as well as dance groups, instrumental acts, bubble makers, mimes, jugglers, etc… Performers will be entirely outdoors, performing for the general public around the Village and on the Village Green stage on Friday, December 1, and on Saturday, December 2.
The magic and charm of Historic Biltmore Village, filled with dickens carolers and lit with holiday lights after dark, is truly unparalleled. As in years past, a fully decorated 15+ foot Christmas Tree will be lit on the Village Green (adjacent to the intersection of Boston Way/Kitchin Place/Biltmore Plaza).
