We first brewed Cold Mountain Winter Ale as a holiday treat in 1996. 27 years later, this beer is a cherished tradition in Asheville and our surrounding region. Tickets are required to visit the Brewery for a weekend of beer, music, sports, and activities. More information and ticket purchase links are below.
The weekend-long celebration kicks off with the exclusive Cold Mountain Beer Dinner, followed by Celebration Sessions at the brewery filled with live music, entertainment, brewery-only small batch releases, and more! Be the first to grab this year’s Cold Mountain Winter Ale and spin-off brews.
At our Downtown Taproom in the S&W Market guests can celebrate with live music and all Cold Mountain varieties on draft. Tickets are not required to visit the Downtown Taproom and Cold Mountain packaged beer will be available while supplies last.

Xiu Xiu – The project of Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo, Xiu Xiu confronts difficult emotions with music ranging from harsh to tender. Using an intense mix of post-punk, synth pop, folk, Asian percussion music, experimental music, noise, modern composition, and more, the group explores the complexities of love, sex, death, and injustice. Over the years, the band’s music spanned the rousing synth pop of 2012’s Always to the cathartic darkness of 2019’s Girl with a Basket of Fruit.
Secret Shame is no stranger to the Burial realm, as they crushed a killer set at Burnpile 2022. They refuse to limit their sound to a single genre but instead pull from a wide range of influences including post-punk, deathrock, shoegaze, and dream-pop.

It has taken many months and many talented minds in and around Burial to get here, but this week we begin shows at our Buxton Avenue music venue in Asheville’s South Slope. Brought to life by the team at Burial Beer Co., Eulogy is a mid-sized room, aiming to add to the city’s vibrant music and live performance scene. The venue is part of an expansion project at 10 Buxton Ave, adjacent to Burial’s original South Slope Taproom, which opened in 2013. The space will feature a full bar with 18 taps of Burial’s beer, housemade cocktails, wine from VISUALS, and more, with a rooftop wine and cocktail bar to spotlight VISUALS, Burial’s product line of wine, cider, and aperitifs, opening in Spring 2024.
