Join us for an incredible performance by violinist/fiddler, Lyndsay Pruett, by exploring jazz, bluegrass, and beyond! Accompanied by faculty member  Kevin Kehrberg on bass and Drew Matulich on guitar. Free Show.

She attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she received a B.A. in Commercial Violin Performance in 2006. At Belmont, she continued her classical study under Elisabeth Small, but also jazz violin with Tracy Silverman. In 2009, she moved to Asheville, with the intent of learning more about her family’s bluegrass musical heritage, and joining a band. Since her her 2011, she has been a member of the nationally-touring Jon Stickley Trio, and regularly performs bluegrass and swing music all over town. She is on the Traditional Faculty at Academy for the Arts, and an adjunct violin teacher at UNCA.

A compelling musical collaboration with the elegance and professionalism harkoning back to the rat-pack club days of the musicians from the 50s. Anne is a two-time Grammy nominee and a veteran of the music scene on both coasts while Jenny’s captivating vocals will move you.

Pirates at heart, Brave The Sea is a Celtic Rock band hailing from Ohio. In the summer of 2015, four guys from the small town of Newark, OH decided to form a Celtic Rock band covering everything from the traditional Celtic tunes to the modern renditions of bands such as Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, and Alestorm.

The Muckers are a five-piece folk-rock band from Atlanta. With a strong emphasis on Irish music, the band also blends influences of Romani music, sea shanties, country, rockabilly and anything else they can get their hands on. $5 COVER AT DOOR

No Depression has called his songs “sing-a-long immediate and earworm lasting”, while the Austin Chronicle has called the “prolific” young songwriter’s lyrics “contemporary poetry” naming his Sleeping with the T.V. On EP to its Top Ten List of 2013. Chris Jamison’s Ghost is a gracefully high-flying band composed of some of Western NC’s finest musicians.
