Similar to last year, we’re taking a tap takeover approach. It will be a small event, limited to approximately 250 people and 20 breweries. We want to keep it intimate, as if we’re having a backyard hangout at which we’ll be showcasing our guest breweries’ beer to our community (and our beer too, of course). The Four Seasons Chamber Orchestra is Western North Carolina’s orchestra for all seasons, presenting one concert each spring, summer, fall, and winter.
The 4SCO performs the lush and evocative orchestral music of Japan in a family-friendly concert of anime and video game music.
The concert features the magical music of Joe Hisaishi from the classic Studio Ghibli animated films Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, and Kiki’s Delivery Service, as well as iconic video game music from Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, Halo, Civilization IV, Kingdom Hearts, and much more.
Concert pianist Steven Graff, who has performed all over the world, including in eight appearances with the Chicago Symphony, will join the orchestra as guest artist.
Donations will also be accepted at the concert to support Week of Joy, a summer camp experience for children whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Today at 5pm Berry Ingle a Native singer-songwriter, writes songs for piano and voice in a style best described as ClassicoFolkRagAmericana with an image-driven storytelling foundation.
