Beginning as a studio project in 2018, LANiiDAE has evolved into an unrelenting force of energetic fury. The band has dropped catchy, heavy, and vibey bangers one after the other for years, and since their live debut in 2022 has been ripping gigs and kicking ass on the East coast.

Having already shared the stage with artists such as The Plot In You, I See Stars, and Slaves, Reflect//Refine are poised to experience their most fruitful year yet.

Celaris continuously challenges the limits of progressive metal, incorporating technical, soaring riffs, catchy and impassioned vocal melodies, and infectious grooves into the fabric of their works.

Based in Charlotte, NC, The Dirty Low Down has curated a truly original sound featuring energetic vocals, infectious grooves, and a dynamic style reminiscent of pop-punk, post-hardcore, and hard rock.

Colin Miller + Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band with Joey Plunket (of Country Westerns) @ Eulogy
Jan 31 @ 8:00 pm – Feb 1 @ 12:00 am

Doors 7PM || Show 8PM || $19.30 adv. Event Details and Tickets

Colin Miller is a rock artist from the thriving music scene of Asheville, North Carolina, who seamlessly combines the unbridled intensity of rock with the reflective melodies of indie rock.

After fronting the rock band State Champion, the Louisville artist, Ryan Davis, crafts a solo debut full of vivid songwriting and cosmic-slacker jams. The loose arrangements of Davis’ backing Roadhouse Band swing further into cosmic-slacker territory than the more serrated stuff he’s delivered with State Champion.

Atlanta-native Plunket started as a hardcore-kid-turned-singer-songwriter with an acoustic guitar. A Nashville institution in the making, Country Westerns infuse punk rock chutzpah with a classic rock sheen.

Feb 2 @ 8:00 pm – Feb 3 @ 12:00 am

Doors 8PM || Show 9PM || $13.78 adv. Event Details and Tickets

The absolutely unfettered energy of Asheville’s psych/garage band Impending Joy begs to be heard live. The driving surf punk-esque sound has to be enjoyed communally.

Most bands fit cleanly within a genre but Tongues of Fire don’t. At their heart they are a punk band, their shows are unhinged, the music is straightforward and hard hitting, there is no trace of excessiveness but they are accessible and there is a well crafted feel to what they do.

Rob Robinson creates vocal driven electronica, house, and vaporwave sounds inspired by 90s educational aesthetics

Rahm Squad is the heart-and-brain child of Asheville-based guitarist/songwriter/producer Rahm Mandelkorn. His music combines elements of indie-rock, soul-jazz and world-music. The Squad is a rotating caste of the region’s best players.

Sugar Bomb is a hi-fi jazz trio from Asheville, North Carolina that’s as sweet as it is explosive – with extreme dynamic range & a knack for improvisation, the band is quickly making a name for themselves with their mind-bending grooves & melodic explorations.

Balm is the solo, loopstation based project of local singer and keyboardist, Rachel Waterhouse of Sister Ivy. Her music is emotive, evocative and soothing, built up with lush vocal harmonies and tasteful synth work, grounded with bass and live looped beats and topped with vulnerable lyrics and striking melodies.

Rhapsody 100 (The Experiment Continues) @ Lipinsky Auditorium, UNCA Campus
Feb 4 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Music Department at the University of North Carolina Asheville celebrates the 100th anniversary of the debut of George Gershwin’s American classic, “Rhapsody in Blue,” with a campus concert titled “Rhapsody 100 (The Experiment Continues)” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, in Lipinsky Auditorium.

The original 1924 “Experiment in Modern Music” concert, which debuted Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” was a uniquely American fusion of jazz and classical music. The centennial concert will bring together talented UNC Asheville faculty and esteemed musicians from the greater community in an “Ashevillean” spirit of musical experimentation. A highlight of the 2023-2024 UNCA Loves Piano concert series, this event features a full orchestra, a jazz combo and distinguished soloists and conductors.
