Join us for RADfest 1.0 for a weekend of art, resilience, and community as we celebrate the soft reopening of Asheville’s River Arts District.
During the soft opening, visit open studios and galleries along Roberts St, Artful Way, Clingman Ave, and upper Depot St. Shop directly from displaced RAD artists set up in the Pinegate Renewables parking lot at 130 Roberts St. The event will feature food trucks and live music as we come together to rebuild and revitalize our beloved River Arts District.

A product of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Chris’ songs utilize a unique brand of folk-rock to tell tales of starry-eyed troubadours and working-class romantics. Holding a sense of hope and a sense of sorrow, Chris’ songs often bounce between a sniffle and a hiccup.
Stop in for the pub’s long running Traditional Irish Session each Sunday afternoon beginning around 3:30pm. Many talented local musicians come from WNC to jam away into the night – all on our pub stage! Sunday is a perfect day to enjoy a pint or afternoon Irish coffee! Slaínte!

MR JIMMY is the solo project of Blues guitarist & vocalist Jim “Ang” Anderson, who has fronted The Chicago Kingsnakes for the past 35 years. Blue Monday at the Joint next door started as a solo Blues show with Mr Jimmy and has evolved into a Jam Session of sorts. Jimmy is joined with different musical cohorts every week.

Nate Smith, a modern day legend on the drums, will be joined by Jason Lindner and Tim Lefabvre in the High Gravity Room. Nate Smith is a drummer, composer, & producer from Chesapeake, Virginia. His visceral, instinctive, and deep-rooted style of drumming has led to three GRAMMY® nominations and work with esteemed artists, including: Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, Brittany Howard, Van Hunt, The Fearless Flyers, Norah Jones, and Somi. Smith fuses his original compositions with an eclectic mix of music, including everything from jazz to R&B to hip-hop to pop.
King Garbage is the result of a 16-year friendship and collaboration between Zach Cooper and Vic Dimotsis. As Grammy- Nominated Producers, KG channel classic soul music through a funky lens on their acclaimed debut album Make it Sweat and production collaborations with The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott, Ellie Goulding, Ricky Reed, and Jon Batiste.
