Decoda cannot wait to celebrate ten years of our unique summer festival, which is dedicated to training the next generation of young artists to rethink and reimagine their role in society. Come check out our Rock Academy bands with performers ranging in age from elementary school thru high school as they perform“Decades of Hits” from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. GTTM has served the Asheville Community for over 16 years and has helped hundreds of WNC Students discover the joy of music by raising more than $275,000 providing for scholarships to fund private music lessons, Rock Academy band lessons, summer camps, and musical instruments.
We are excited to announce that renowned keyboardist Adam Holzman, an innovator in jazz, classic rock, and progressive rock keyboards will perform a synthesizer and piano concert at Static Age Records. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. For the performance, Holzman will create all sequences and loops in real-time analog without the assistance of a laptop. When asked to describe the concert, Holzman stated, “It will be sort of Tangerine Dream meets Keith Jarrett.”

Crafting what will go down as the most important songbook of all time, Chess Club has given a voice to the voiceless. With songs like, “I like your mom (more than you)” “I Wish (Your Dog Didn’t Look At Me When We Make Love)” “I’m Not Bothered (By Your Birthmark)” and “It’s Not Me (It’s You)” Chess Club has found a way to tap into the depth of humanity while speaking truth to power. The song writing duo, of Champagne (Adam Chase) and Paris (Danny Darress), have been compared to Lennon and McCartney, Jagger and Richards in prowess, Bret and Jermaine, & Jack and Kyle in wit. Rolling Stone and New York Times were left speechless.

Hustle Souls is an Asheville based band who blend Retro-Soul, New Orleans Brass Music and Americana. American Blues Scene called Hustle Souls a “generation-jumping mashup of new school second line funk with old school vintage soul.” Overflowing with energy and spontaneity; roaring B3 organ and jubilant brass are balanced with 3-part vocal harmony and a lust for songwriting.
Krave Amiko is a genre-blending 5 piece band from Asheville that focuses on lyrical storytelling, compelling melodies, and catchy choruses. Started in 2019 by songwriter Robert Walsh and singer Stephanie Barcelona, their energetic live shows turn even casual listeners into life-long fans.
