Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians, that play lively Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle, guitars, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots music.

The Musicians in the Round is an open mic/in the round that takes place at Catawba Brewing Tasting Room on the South Slope in Asheville, NC. Our first round was on March 9th, 2015 and they just keep getting better.
Calling all fiddles, mandolins, banjos, guitars, stand-up basses, other acoustic instruments, and heartfelt vocals! Come celebrate old-time and bluegrass heritage with other musicians. Mountain Music Jam is played at the intermediate level. Come on out and play, or just come to listen. Instrument set-up starts at 6:15.
