Benjamin Bjorlie is an Asheville based bassist and drummer. He is a core member of The J Lloyd Mashup, a local funk band, among his many projects. He will be joined by a cast of amazing local musicians to bust out some Funk, neo-soul and pop.
The meat and potatoes of this group will be Ben Bjorlie on Bass, Joe Enright on Drums, and Thomson Knoles on Keys. Alex Bradley will bring some special seasoning, but the cherry on top will be Jonah Bjorlie on Guitar and Sax! We’ll hit some deep cuts from some of our favorite artists.

Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians, that play lively Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle, guitars, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots music.

We are going to keep our Strictly Bluegrass Jam with Host Branson Raines going. Every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at the historic Methodist Church in the Walnut Community. The address is 15 Barnard Road, Marshall, NC. All Bluegrass lovers, listeners, pickers are welcome to join us to play, sing and fellowship. The strongest thing we will have to drink is Coffee!
