The California Honeydrops are led by dynamic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lech Wierzynski, the band draws on diverse musical influences including roots, Bay Area R&B, Southern soul, Delta blues, and New Orleans second line to bring vibrant energy to their shows. Assembling their five core members plus two to three more world-class musicians each show, the Honeydrops deliver an eclectic performance.

WTF Music Festival is coming to Salvage Station on Sunday, September 29th, 2024! Doors open at 12:00PM and the music starts at 1:00PM. Root Down will be serving their delicious twist on Southern Soul Food PLUS we will have our FULL bar open for you to enjoy!

It is crazy how many talented women we have in this town. We need a FULL week to showcase them all and that is just what we intend to do in March during WTF Week. Stay tuned for more details on that. In the meantime, mark September 29th on your calender in BOLD and highlight it because it is going to be a day to remember at Salvage Station.

We are thrilled this FREE event showcasing the sustainable, living crafts of traditional Appalachia is back to a two-day celebration! Watch, participate, and enjoy various demonstrations of heritage crafts. There will be storytelling and live music featuring modern takes on traditional Appalachian music forms.

11:00 Davy Arch (Storytelliing) Cherokee Legends and Stories.
12:00 Carol Rifkin (Old Time music) Host of the popular radio show on WNCW, “This Old Porch,” Carol Rifkin shares her great knowledge of traditional Appalachian music and dance forms.
1:00 Newfound Gap (Old Time music) A family of talented younger musicians.
2:00 Briar Branch (Old Time music) Mother-Daughter duo Julia Weatherford and Pearl Shirley feature beautiful harmonies and have a distinct style that is refreshing.
3:00 Janet Wiseman and Mountain Lights (Bluegrass/Old Country) Like a front porch jam session at a family reunion, this band has a fun vibe and brings you that “mountain sound.”
