Steam Machine – originally formed in Minneapolis in 2018, Steam Machine brought to the national stage a midwest influenced string band aesthetic that didn’t draw such hard lines between old time and bluegrass. smooth, powerful fiddling, driving three finger banjo, front-of-the-beat rhythm backup combined into a ‘suspiciously entertaining sound.
Milepost Music is a FREE concert featuring local and regional artists. It’s held on Sundays, 2-4 p.m., at various locations along the Parkway. No tickets are needed. Bring a chair.

An annual collab celebration with AAPI: Asian American and Pacific Islanders featuring performances by Hisself and Min Xiao-Fen
Social time (with food) starts at 5:30 followed by a short recap of the past year’s Friends of the Library’s activities, announcements of new officers, and recognition of FOL volunteers. The Upbeats Ukulele Band will perform a one-hour concert called “Beatlemania” from 6:30-7:30. Come and enjoy this unique performance of all of your favorite Beatles tunes!
