Beats Soundsystem – A sonic journey of electronics and improvisation with SIDECAR TOMMY & Miles Jay Experimental takes on new and classic Beats Antique tracks, extended jams and dance floor dust ups, warping into a blend of global-electronic madness. A dancefloor-oriented sound, with a focus on new musical boundaries and live experimentation.

A portion of every ticket sold will go to benefiting one of our favorite local nonprofit companies in the music industry IAMAVL! aka Independent Arts and Music of Asheville which has been preserving and promoting the creative community in Asheville NC since 2012.

She attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she received a B.A. in Commercial Violin Performance in 2006. At Belmont, she continued her classical study under Elisabeth Small, but also jazz violin with Tracy Silverman. In 2009, she moved to Asheville, with the intent of learning more about her family’s bluegrass musical heritage, and joining a band. Since her her 2011, she has been a member of the nationally-touring Jon Stickley Trio, and regularly performs bluegrass and swing music all over town. She is on the Traditional Faculty at Academy for the Arts, and an adjunct violin teacher at UNCA.
