TAUK Moore is an inspired, genre-blurring musical force born out of the creative synergy between long standing instrumental quartet TAUK and dynamic frontwoman Kanika Moore. Together, they combine ethereal jazz, scorching funk, gritty rock, and danceable electronica into one immersive sonic landscape. With Moore’s stunning vocals and captivating stage presence at the helm, TAUK Moore unleashes masterful performance, driven by biting grooves, wailing guitars, melodic keys and thunderous drums.
Nashville’s psychedelic punk-grass rockers, Sicard Hollow is a four-piece progressive bluegrass band who formed with a mutual passion for pushing the boundaries of genre. Heavily influenced by the Grateful Dead and New Grass Revival, these young pickers bring new energy to a timeless style with a combination of fearless improvisation and instrumental prowess.

In partnership with Women to the Front, The Outpost is excited to present Mama and The Ruckus, an intergenerational Roots project with a big sound and an even bigger heart. The Ruckus is led by Mama who writes songs about the trauma and pain that every person inevitably experiences in their lives. With soaring guitars, wailing vocals, screaming harmonicas, and funky bass, keys, and drums, the Ruckus has a sound that is undeniably unique.
The Red Hot Sugar Babies perform sassy jazz and sultry blues of the roaring 20’s-30’s including Vintage Jazz, Blues, Swing, Ragtime, Dixieland, New Orleans. Influenced by Ethel Waters, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Jelly Roll Morton they play a mix of the pop music that created the first dance craze to sweep the nation. Come dance The Charleston and revisit the era of flappers, speakeasies, rumble seats, and bathtub gin.

Join us at Shiloh & Gaines on Friday April 15 for a very special show featuring local Asheville legend Datrian Johnson with Lafayette, Louisiana (by way of Norway and California) artist Rainy Eyes. These two rising stars are cooking up something special. The night will begin with a set from Rainy Eyes and a set from Datrian and then a set with both of them on stage combining forces. Women to the Front is a music festival that was created to celebrate females in the music industry in Asheville, NC. Featuring live music by all female musicians, vendor spots for female-owned businesses and nonprofits, female sound engineers, female photographers and videographers, and female owned food trucks, this event in its 2nd year will be held at New Belgium Brewing on September 17th 2023. It is a family friendly event and free to the public.
